I am a photographer and, in my photography, I try to capture all genres in all forms without exclusion whether human or non-human presence for as long as it comes my way and sight. Through patterns, shapes, shadows, experimental, commercial, humanitarian, social cultural, nature and environment, landscapes, monochrome, digital art, abstract …….and all other forms of light and creation, I hope to torch the viewer in attention to what they see, believe or think of.
I am a freelance photographer based Uganda. I like and love what I am; a photography enthusiast and devoted towards sharing skills and experience with others to achieve goals.
The purpose of this blog is to share art, experiences, beauty and boldness of all sorts of life through photography. My preference for freelancing is freedom from confinement. In my view, specialisation breeds confinement. But i appreciate every beautiful moment that life has, its environment and the way it is. I use this medium to speak to the world about different moments in the surrounding, basically the things in our midst– the other part of the environment we live in/with. It’s one of the mediums of communication that speaks vastly to those one may never meet or has long forgotten.
I primarily work in colour, but black and white are favourites too. I started photography using an automated camera from my late father and started off as a commercial photographer while in school; I have been photographing since 1995. My works have appeared in magazines and other publications like newspapers in and out of Uganda as photo-journalistic and art pieces. I have also been involved in a group photo exhibition. Besides just photography, I help individuals achieve their dreams by building their capacities, create change, empower individuals and communities to overcome their challenges and constraints for a long-lasting impact in their lives and communities.
My works can be accessed through my blog and other online links. I do not have speciality in tools of trade, but the Nikons, Fujifilm, Pentax and canon family, are very resourceful
I am passionate about photography for the smallest and big moments for archival, urgent, immediate or general purpose.
